Quebec had some of the harshest covid measures and I don’t recall a single politician saying anything against them. A lot of people who believed they had no choice because of the exclusionary nature of those measures have suffered tremendous losses of jobs, health, homes, financial security, and so much else. I’m not actively wishing that those who supported those measures suffer ill health or death, but I think it’s fair when they suffer some of the same consequences as those they coerced into compliance.
