Feral hogs will be hunted relentlessly in Montana and North Dakota.
IIRC, Alberta offers a bounty on feral hogs (does not include politicians or other 2 legged kinds). They do incredible damage to crops and habitat. The problem is, Alberta is large and sparsely populated. Of 4.4 million people in AB, 2.8 live in Calgary or Edmonton. Lots of agricultural and pasture land on which the hogs can live.
Hunt all they want. The pigs still come back. We hunt every week and we still have pigs. Coyotes too. They thrive on pigs.
