"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.

The majority of women think that there should be at least some limits on abortion. When SCOTUS overturned RvW there was a lot about womens’ views. Against any abortion is a sizeable number, and even more thank there should be limits (like not after 3 months, or after heartbeat, etc). The question is what to do about it?

Scott Adams proposed this morning that women could be offered a significant amount, say $100K, to have the baby and put it up for adoption. The program would include comprehensive health care for mother and baby until the child is adopted. Perhaps six months after birth.

He also floated that the bonus might be paid by wealthy couples looking to adopt. This would ensure that the child would be raised by afffluent parents rather than being killed in the womb. It would also mitigate, if not solve, the problem of decreasing birth rate among Americans.
