The question is, "Why are parents putting up with it?"

That homosexuals have shorter life spans was well known in the psychiatric community many years ago.

My stepfather (deceased) went to med school in the 1940’s; he kept all of his textbooks and that was stated in his psychiatry textbook very plainly along with the assertion that homosexuality was abnormal.
