“How are you guys getting out?”

That’s the fun part, we aren’t. We left cars at the bottom of the driveway and I’ll have to hike down there if I want to go somewhere. I was supposed to go somewhere with friends this week, to Trader Joe’s and to yoders, a Mennonite shop. Can’t do that, I don’t want to have to carry all that stuff up the hill! So I have to wait till next week when I can drive up.

Oh, MS, that is simply beautiful and a heartfelt touching story.

I think that little old patient was a bit of an angel herself, takes one to know one.

We all have had our share of terrible, nasty things in our lives, here on the TT, it's one thing that has helped bind us together, that and our love for the best President ever.

We will help get each other through the days and years ahead.

Thank you for sharing.

💞

“He’s still a kitten, Sable is trying to teach him what’s acceptable behavior”

She must be telling him that him living in our house is unacceptable. He needs to find his own place.

I didn’t think she would still be this upset this long.

“In my opinion, forgiveness isn’t accepting what they did. I forgive people by recognizing that they are human, and there are sometimes (bad) reasons people do things”

Thanks for pointing that out, I phrased it badly. I didn’t mean that we have to accept it as something good, only accept that it did happen and they did it. Not try to make excuses or sugar-coat it

Maybe Cadbury is a slow learner.

Our Siamese cat trained our German Shepard by hissing and swatting.

Archimedes wasn’t going to put up with anything from that big dog.

Archi was several years old and let Dax know that HE was King of the house.

They became the beat of friends, always sleeping together, eating together, playing together, naw, not so much, Archi was too mature for that. LOL

“I look back on my childhood and my awful first marriage, and it no longer controls me”

That’s wonderful! And I’m glad you have had more happy years than sad ones. I bet you were a great role model to many of your patients

Forgiveness isn't easy when peoples lives were in the balance. Balance isn't the correct word but I fail to find another.

I can't forgive my Pastors for preaching get the vax. Even told of ones father who died of the flu. SO to say forgiveness will help..help who? I do understand God makes that judgement but the church is God's church. If you believe you're part of God why push a vax instead of believing God will take care of your needs. Preaching medicine in church instead of God's words turned me away from where I use to find God's peace and understanding.

I found a Prophet who helped me when I needed help thanks to a friend. Thanks friend.

“playing together, naw, not so much”

You know what I’ve noticed, Cooper has no idea how to play cat games. Sable and Cadbury will be chasing each other and fighting, (Cadbury thinks they are playing and I wonder if Sable does - she smacks him pretty hard in the head sometimes.)

Cooper will join in the chase but he seems lost at what he is supposed to do after. It’s pretty sad. Then he will just go lay down. Maybe he feels like he wasn’t selected for the team - now that makes me really sad, I’m going to have to go give him treats.

I’ve been going to the pool when I feel like it. It would help if I went more often. But last night was the first time in awhile I couldn’t get to sleep. I think it was the pain meds.

“I can’t forgive my Pastors for preaching get the vax”

I heard that some Churches did that. But I haven’t encountered anybody who had that happen until now. That is so wrong! Why do they think they have any sort of authority on something medical. I hope lots of people left that church.

My TY has a flat tip ear. He was in a catch and release program I never knew our town had. He was living under my old Ranger and it took weeks to catch him. He's still learning how to play. Trust isn't easy for little cats who have had to figure out how to survive.

Cooper sounds like my Simon. He was not accepted until our rescue Mollie came. I guess cats are like humans..but hopefully one day one of the others will need something Cooper can give.

People died...my son who has gone back and is an usher is the only 30 yr. old there to usher. My son wasn't vaxed. I'm on the other hand happy my son is again involved in church. One Pastor has really given him peace from what use to angered him. Same pastor who came to the house. I think I drove him nuts. I was just trying to wake him up to possibilities and be more open. Faith isn't only based on church schooling. Angels do appear.
