LOL, this is mine. I'm on the white Appaloosa and my daughter is on the big Quater Horse/Thoroughbred. Horses can be dangerous even if they aren't drunk. Both of these were well trained trail horses for mountains or trails. The App was extremely spirited but he loved me! Most people rode gaited horses but ours were all Quarter horse types.

Great that you have such a wonderful skill with those critters! Last time I was on a horse..oh I don’t maybe 1951...it took off at a gallop on me. Fortunately, this tenderfoot was able to hold on for dear life until a wrangler was able to bring the beast under control. Have been terrified of riding ever since!🙂

You have to ride a horse Indian style: bareback, no saddle no blanket, no reins, just grab his main and say “Go! Baby!” in his ear. He will always slide move under you so you don’t fall off. He knows you let him run free. You will be one with the horse. Just grab his neck and lean into the wind. Been doing it since I was 6 years old.
