Everyone has their Yellowstone stories….and no doubt many has this one….
…having to stop and wait in the middle of the highway at Yellowstone., for a herd of bison to wander, slowly across the road…….
They are huge, and the one standing next to our car was rather frightening
Yes, it was the highlight of the day.
Yep. I was there recently and traffic was stopped for about 30 minutes. We assumed it was road construction, but after we started driving again found that it was bison hanging out on the road… it was kind of fun being just feet from them while being safe in the car. Same thing happened with black bears.
Also saw people getting waaaay to close to wild animals. No surprise someone got gored.
