I’ve had lots of game meat. TBH, and all arguments aside I prefer the taste of corn-fed beef. But that’s just me I think it’s kind of strange when somebody gets venison and grinds it up with beef fat to make it taste better.

My brother-in-law and his sons take a lot of venison every year and they don’t doctor it up except with spices and marinade but not with other fats. It tastes fine, but I still prefer cornfed beef.

Nothing wrong with liking what you like.

I almost entirely eat grass fed lamb for meat now.
It tastes and smells a bit different, but I think it’s healthier.
Of course it might be unhealthier and just more expensive...

I’m w/ you. For me, all game exc. quail and pheasant is called “adventure meat”. Beef, chicken and ribs any day.
