Vivek could be the next Rush Limbaugh. He articulates conservatism well.
I don’t disagree but he is already a fractional billionaire.
My main problem with this and all other debates in the last sixty years is that it just encourages the misuse of the federal Presidency.
The Presidency for our first 120 years was meant to be the chief magistrate — the chief executive. As progressives came to the forefront in both parties, Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson, we lost that vision.
The Presidency became a leader, an activist and much more involved in legislation and articulating the direction that the weaker congress should go.
This led to such idiocy as George W Bush bringing his education centered Texas governorship policy up to the Federal level. Listening to Presidential debates is a litany of things that the federal Presidents should not do or should not be involved with formulating.
Rush was tried and true genuine. Even he was fooled just like all of us by these elitist liars.
This is like Trump, he is genuine because whatever comes out his mouth isn’t run through handlers looking to fool people. You may not like, approve, or wish he would have reworded what he said, but you can’t say it isn’t genuine. What you see is pretty much what you get.
Vivek sounds good, great at speaking and articulating, but not sure if he is genuine yet because he hasn’t been around long enough to give us a baseline to see whether he just mouths the words we like to hear or truly believes those words.
