Like Spiro Agnew was frog-marched out of the job back in 1974, to make room for Gerald Ford as Vice-President, which immediately made Nixon MUCH more vulnerable, and led to his later resignation from office. And who was slipped in as Vice President when Ford became Acting President? Nelson Rockefeller, the ultimate RINO.
