WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Sheetz convenience store is celebrating the Fourth of July holiday by dropping gas prices.
Today, the price of gas has dropped to $1.776 per gallon for regular, mid-grade, E85 (flex fuel), Unleaded 88, and premium fuel gas.
The special Independence Day offer is set to last all day, according to the company, or until supplies runs out.

That is some good Sheetz.
I’d need 3 tanks of gas to get there.
Aw Sheetz, we have none here. 🙂
I filled up this morning. The lines at each pump are 10 deep.
California follows suit at $17.76.
I used my Sheetz card and got an additional 3 cents off of 19 gallons
Good for Sheetz! I bet the gas runs out before end of day.
AFAIK PA, OH & WV only.
Well actually, Sheetz locations are in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina. But none of them help me. I would be near empty by the time I got back home. 🙂
can’t you just see the good for others?
While supplies last, eh? I wonder if they topped up all the tanks yesterday. Good way to get all the old sludge hoovered off the tank bottoms, anyway.
Just filled up cheaply in State College
PA on way back to New England. Not too
long of a wait but a friend in Irwin
PA said it was a madhouse.
Gas is $3.95 to $4.49 here diesel is $3.82 to $4.79. Same old stuff. Crude down, gas up. No shortage of mosquitoes though. We would be happy to share! Last night I heard a couple of them stomping through the woods and breaking branches. One said, “Shall we eat him here or take him with us?” The other one said, “If we take him home the big ones will get him!”
The fans hit the Sheetz.
Maryland would not allow the deal last year.
This year they did.
Even 93 octane was included.
At 4:30 am I filled the truck and two 5 gallon cans and only one other car was there.
By the time got done others were trickling in at this very rural Sheetz.
Gonna take the PT Loser in later and fill it.
I wish I had more gas cans as this a great help to me right now, considering.
Went to the Get-Go (Giant Eagle) in Punxsutawney earlier today. The Sheetz was really packed. We had a Giant Eagle discount of $3.70 per gallon that will expire soon so I got 29 gallons of 92 octane for $15. Filled up our SUV and 3 five gallon cans. The receipt said we saved $108.
🤣
Sorry, Brookville, not Punxy.
People may be angry about the price of gas, but no one is flipping the Byrd at Sheetz today.
