A black college graduate’s mic drop moment has gone viral in a video showing her grabbing the microphone from a white educator who apparently didn’t allow her to say her full name.
Kadia Iman, a digital creator with an OnlyFans account and more than 18,000 followers on TikTok, is seen snatching the mic from the stunned white woman, who tries in vain to keep holding it.
“I want the mic! Let go! You didn’t let me get my moment,” she said before mentioning her name to the audience gathered outside. ”I’m graduating today. I don’t like how you snatched the mic out of my hand, so today is going to be all about me!”
The graduate, clad in a pink-topped cap and black gown, then drops the mic and storms off.
A bystander is heard saying, “Oh! Drops the mic! Congratulations!”

Im having a hard time feeling sympathy for any “white educator” who gets abused by a feral they helped enable.

I think all the comments are missing the point:
A white liberal female academic was giving black students short shrift on mic time on stage and this black chic (obviously an immigrant with a low tolerance for such BS) called her out, literally ripping the mic out of her hands so she could at least say her entire name.
This should have been an indictment of academia racial hypocrisy, but the poorly written article is eliciting the wrong response.
Pathetic. That’s how too many in her generation were raised.
Black students have begun to have their own commencement ceremonies because of their behavior and that of their families and friends. Feral animals gotta ruin it for everyone. High schools are particularly nutz.

When I graduated, a person on the side read then names off. You walked across the stage. Took your diploma in one hand, Shook in the other. Keep moving..
