My “long live the queen” was a double entendre, one pointing to the stupid resident and the other pointing to the notion that differing opinions should be censored by a pseudo-monarch of any stylish modeling.
My perspective is that whether one poster likes one source, or dislikes another, or one subject is liked and another is not, or one slide topic is good and others are deemed bad, the site should not engage is censorship, other than when a liability to the forum owners is a threat, or at the OWNERS discretion alone.
Free exchange of ideas, even those we don’t agree with make us stronger, because we even learn from those in error, which helps us develop better communication with each other and enables us to understand and rationally confront deception, propaganda, brainwashing and outright lies.
Censorship is what the left does and did to us all for the last three years, yet is creeping in. This is what I am standing against in my comments.
My dislike for GP (and other sources) is merely my personal opinion (thigh GP was disliked for quite some time as expressed by other posters), yet I don’t ask that posters be banished to festival basement.
The solution to free speech we don’t like is more free speech, not censorship, lest we behave like the leftist carjacking media and left leaning social media. We’re better than this and should not fear opinions which differ from ours and we should never censor them. If those opinions are false, let the truth shine the light upon the darkness. But let’s not pretend differing opinions don’t exist by hiding them. To do this ultimately weakens each of us.
To censor unfavorable opinions in an open conservative forum is akin to conservatives being silenced on college free speech zone...yet worse, because we love the 1st amendment are are not and should not be afraid of it, even when we disagree with another.

Although your answer was more toward addressing the contentions on this thread regarding “free speech,” you did answer my question as to why you think TGP is “horrible.” One’s personal opinion is indeed just that, and I will be respectful, but frankly I was expecting/hoping for examples for consideration related to your perceived horribleness of TGP.

The other insult was “sheepherder” like that’s a bad thing. Christ is our shepherd. So, maybe the person who called RN a sheepherder was actually not insulting but complimenting RN. However, I doubt it.

This isn’t GAB, there really isn’t free speech on FR. If you and your friends (please talk amongst yourselves, you tire me) don’t like that then leave. Don’t let the door hit your bums on the way out. You all aren’t interested in a free exhange of ideas, only temper tantrums and veiled insults.
True free speech, which is on GAB, not on FR, is where you can say racial slurs, curse words, and outright threaten people. But here, there is a modicum of decorum. And I don’t think that means, when you walk down the junior high hallway, you poke a stick up their bum or follow them with taunts.
You are only fooling yourself if you think FR is bastion of free speech. It’s not. We agreed to that when we all signed up for an account.
