China will move in for the resources,the $$$ and the influence. I saw it during my last visit there. I'd bet the clothes on my back that they'll eventually be allowed to set up a naval base and an air force base there. Of course that will require a few local politicians to be “persuaded” (if ya catch my drift).

All I can say to China is, “Good luck with all that.” South Africa has a nice temperate climate. A bit dry, it needs competent people to maintain the reservoirs and wells. The Chinese have that.
They also have lots of people. I could see them moving in and making it work by getting rid of the blacks.
