We had an entirely new furnace..gas with and electric starter...also a new air conditioner. $3,400. My house is really spread out with hallways. Even a triple window in the long hallway. Not an easy house to heat and cool. Now I am living in the mid-west and low cost of living. But still I really question the amount too.

My oldest Daughter just got power on today after almost a week after this tornado!So sad as we find out so many people within our community throughout our rural areas passed away from the heat.
Good Lord is all I can say! Prayers for anyone in this smothering heat. I have co-workers that their AC's stopped working! Costs are so high and many do not have working Air Conditioning! I was told by a long time Friend years ago to save your unit and the power cuts off, just turn the switch to off! Told All I knew about this and I personally do this every time I lose power,regardless! My AC is old and installed in 1993! Still vworking!
