Perhaps we should eliminate tax deductions for ‘charity’ if gross income is above say $50,000/flier or if it is an estate return.

Instead, we could have 1040 Schedule lines for:

SNAP - food
Medicaid - low-income medical care
PPACA - modest income health insurance
Pell Grants - future higher education
NDSL - past higher education

The donated lines would top-up federal amounts.

Everyone benefits from the corruption of the government, except the tax-paying citizen.

The government under the US constitution has authority to raze revenue to conduct governmental functions.

They have no authority to use tax payer money for anything else. Its called misappropriation of resources.

Nothing NGOs do is inherently governmental (meaning only the government has authority to do it) such as the military, police, regulatory functions and oversite.

I believe it is illegal for the fed/gov to send tax dollars to NGOs as they are not a government function.

I have read the constitution chapter and verse and I can't find the part where its says they can spend any tax funds it sees fit on their favorite charity.
