One of the Police officers stated that he heard Floyd snoring, which is why he was not concerned.
Also, Floyd's neck was turned 90 degrees to the right.
No soft neck tissue was exposed, only taut neck muscles.
Also, the knee restraint hold was described and approved by the Minneapolis Police Manual on the day it was used.
Also, several photographs dispute the claim that a knee was directly on Floyd's neck.
That still doesn’t address the time it took to check him once he was completely limp or the lack of resuscitative efforts once he was determined to be in cardiac arrest. Police are held to a higher standard and should be. Again I don’t think it was murder and Floyd’s actions undoubtedly contributed to his demise but I think there was significant negligence in the part of the cops. I have no issue with their actions up until the time the knew or should have known he was in real trouble.
