And worst, if currency is digital, the government controls when, and how you can use it. Right now, probably 99% of my transactions are via a credit or debit card, but it’s a choice and convenience. I can still use cash, I sometimes do. I would not want that option to disappear. Plus the government can’t take my cash away, but they can lock up my credit card or debit card. Or during an emergency, ATMs and credit card processing might not work. What do you do then?

And digital means electrical.

They don’t even have to do anything more than shut down the grid with a brown out, blackout, rolling black outs.
