I can tell you a drug that works for weight loss. I use it for autoimmune issues. Low Dose Naltrexone. Doctors also prescribe it with Wellbutrin combined in a pill. I don’t take it that way. I chop up a 50 mg naltrexone pill to .5 doses or less. If you want it for autoimmune issues but can’t get the Rheumatologist to prescribe it you can ask for it for weight loss from a primary care physician

I cant say how it would interfere with diabetes but here is a good video on how it works

by the way, good thing I didn’t take any of the wellbutrin because it is heavily involved in the CYP2d6 P450 issues.

if you have done a good DNA test (not talking 23andme) you can look to see if you might be more susceptible to Naltrexone

We have quite a mix of issues around the house. My wife has to deal with T1 diabetes. Rheumatoid Arthritis is my primary demon. 800 mg ibuprofen at bedtime for the last 25 years. It is getting less effective as the RA gets worse. I don't visit my doctor often. I did have an appointment last week with sleep apnea and RA on my topic of discussion. No action yet. Between the RA pain and the apnea AND my wife's low glucose alarms going off, it is getting more difficult to get a decent night's sleep.

Thanks for the recommendation. At this point I have zero prescription drugs to treat issues. All OTC and relatively cheap.
