All the useful idiots on this forum who have grown tired of Trump, love Desantis, and want a robust primary to unseat Trump, fail to prove to me, that Trump has the same ambitions as the two-bit politicians we’ve seen in this country since attending grade school, and no one better portrays them than Desantis.
Why does virtually the entire Republican delegation from Florida support Trump? Because they know Desantis is a disloyal, dishonest and mealy-mouthed loser.
Maybe I’m naive, but I truly believe that Trump knows, that we, as a country, are at a crossroads, better described as a war, and that to defeat the evil that engulfs us, we as a party need to be united.
Trump does NOT want a coronation. In my mind, I don’t think he’s ever walked away from a fight, but he’s telling Desantis to knock it off. Quit being the lackey of all the GOP elites out there.

Politics ain’t beanbag. Trump resurrected and expanded a dying party. The 2020 election was stolen, a view held by the majority of the GOP voters. There will be a primary and Trump will win the nomination.
NB: Biden and Deep State are trying to take out Trump so GOP primary voters will not even be able to vote for him. They want to choose the Rep nominee.
Here is the thing. What can any of the other Republican candidates for President offer that Trump hasn’t already done? Trump is a proven commodity, successful with everything he did.
What is DeSantis, Christie or any of the others going to offer that differs from Trump’s conservative principles? DeSantis needs 4 more years. Christie is a waste, but might be a good DoJ person. Haley would probably be a good SecState with her UN experience.
Other than that, it’s just rhetoric. If the candidates cannot stand up to Trump and are just whining, how will they fare against the rest of the worlds leaders, many who hate the US?
