I am sorry to hear you are having neck problems etc. Looking at computers is in the range of a tri-focal. I don’t know what kind of glasses you wear but my daughter has tri-focals and her neck hurt all the time because she had to tilt her head back to be able to see through that tri-focal range. When they told me I needed tri-focal’s I told them No! I just want what they call Computer glasses. You measure how far you sit from the computer then they make the lenses accordingly. They will put the bi-focal part in also if you need to look down to see the keyboard sometimes or to read something you need to look at. No more tilting your neck. I told my daughter to get computer glasses which she did about a week ago and she is not having nearly the neck problem she had before.
I am still hanging in. A few minor problems, but like you said, getting old is the pits. Take Care.
