Good move!
Vivek Ramaswamy is the latest Republican to call out Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley for their weak response to the obviously political indictment against President Donald Trump.

When it comes to the subject of Governor DeSantis, jumping the shark has become an Olympic sport here on FR. SMH
Let me be the first to condemn Manitoba joining the Union.
I personally think there is an issue with the machines. I think we should follow France (yes, one of those rare agreements) where we go back to paper ballots.
The other items I agree are issues that need to be stopped.
Interesting tell--Rathensberger slimed people questioning Georgia continuing to use ERIC for managing voter rolls, where other states have ditched it. I mean, a post office box is the company? Come on.
But it solidifies in my mind Rathensberger is dirty. Probably Kemp too, but he seems to be behaving for now. Maybe a little too much scrutiny is driving that.
Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt
I think this is real. You don’t just walk in and arrest a former president, they were probably making plans for how this would go down when it was leaked. Also, there are reports that the majority of the DAs office is completely against this politically motivated prosecution. so there is that avenue for leaks.
But had the DA filed the charges first and arrested Trump the storyline on the news for at least the next week would be that Trump is guilty. Regardless of the fact that the charges would later be reduced, or even dismissed, a sizable percentage of the public would continue to consider Trump guilty. by getting out in front of it, the conversation now is not whether Trump broke the law, but about the unreasonable political persecution. The DAs office is now struggling against a very real public imaging problem, and they better hope they can prove those charges, or they could be in some real trouble.
“Attack DeSantis” seems to be all the onlyTrumpers have. Sad.
Here’s the missing part: “I’m the RNC, and I approve of this silence”
I like Vivek as a VP for Trump
I’m convinced its one of two things
1) Alvin Bragg is out on his own, seeking publicity and looking for love among NY’s liberals. He doesn’t intend to go forward, loves the attention he is getting. Its VERY common in NY for AGs and DAs to use their position for corrupt, political, publicity-seeking lawfare cases. Cuomo did it, Spitzer did it, Schneiderman did it (but didn’t make it to Governor). Now Bragg is doing it.
2) Bragg is just one member of the wolf-pack, out barking and lunging at the buffalo, although he would never attack on his own. Its all designed to keep “Orange Man Bad” in the news.
Either way, I do not expect anything to come of it.
I like Vivek as a cabinet member. Not clear on his citizenship status re VP.
Any candidate that will not denounce charging a US president with a non-crime can’t be president, in my book.
RDS is running out of time.
Here is an excellent way to avoid these types of things:
-DON’T bang porn ‘stars’
-DON’T talk about grabbing women by their nethers publicly
-DON’T have multiple affairs requiring NDAs and payoffs
-DON’T be a bore and act like the world is against you when called on it
And before the whataboutism starts, Clinton was a scumbag. No one argues that point. Biden is a hairsniffer who makes women and children uncomfortable and anecdotally showered with his young daughter. By all accounts this is a trumped up civil matter that has been massaged and stretched into a campaign finance issue, but it could have all been avoided if the above had of been followed.
"I have no interest in getting involved in some type of manufactured circus by some Soros DA," DeSantis said.BREAKING: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis Finally Reacts to Donald Trump's Potential Arrest [03/20/2023]
