This story is pathetic. Young people shouldn’t be parents at 17. It’s certainly isn’t something to celebrate.
Yes. If they're 21, then it's a different story because they might be living on their own. Not while under their parents' roof.
Used to be the case.
Now a days you’re a damn child until your 25.
“ This story is pathetic. Young people shouldn’t be parents at 17. It’s certainly isn’t something to celebrate.”
It’s interesting.
It didn’t used to be so uncommon.
People were more mature earlier and started their lives, marriage and family.
It’s probably better for society. 17 is young still I agree.
” Young people shouldn’t be parents at 17.”
Agreed
But in the past it was different. Read a story yesterday about 98-year-old Kentucky woman met her great-great-great-granddaughter for the first time. First kid at 16.
230 grandkids!!
Oh BS. I had my first at 18, there were hardships but those just go with life.
We were young enough to thoroughly enjoy our grandkids and still young enough to enjoy our two great grandchildren, hopefully with more to come.
We just celebrated our 52nd anniversary on Monday.
Especially in this crazy world there are 40 yr olds who aren’t mature enough to become parents.
150 years ago 16 years olds got married and had families, but we aren’t in that age any longer.
“Young people shouldn’t be parents at 17.”
Things happen in life. Better to be a parent at 17 than a murderer at 17.
WE know a “lady” in Missouri that at 36 she had 5 grandchildren already. All on welfare of course.
what's even worse is that it's the adults who are the ones celebrating. Just more of the, "Oh, look at me and my grandbaby."
