Katy Perry is a lib scuzball...................
To: Red Badger
I have a family aquaintance whose daughter tours with KP as part of her publicity entourage. Paraphrasing first-hand comments so I don't get banned, - She's impossible to please and not a very nice person.
The actual conversation was much more caustic.

Not exactly a follower of Jesus either from what I understand......which would explain the verbal attack after the contestant mentioned her choir training

I thought one of the features of American Idol was that at least some of the judges were “brutally honest” with the contestants. I guess that viewer-generating ploy is running up against the stone wall of Snowflake culture.

That's the music industry today, plastic karaoke dolls judging talent, although I do admire Katys talent in one area.

Katy is the daughter of gospel preacher Keith Hudson and wife Mary, more
here. She has spent most of her adulthood running away from her gospel roots and her risen Lord. If past precedent is any indication, it won't last forever, and she will come home, both to her parents and to her Savior. Watching her in the meantime is painful.

My mom watches it & I walked in her room when this girl was singing I thought she was good. Katy Perry is very annoying & unlikable.

“who will lay down their life for this golden ticket”
Herein lies the issue. This young woman is participating in this shenanigans without the weight of this stupid Hollywood dream. She’s a mother and has immediately learned what is and is not important.
Katie has sacrificed everything in her life to get that fame and paycheck. And she’s LIVID that someone else may achieve that without selling their soul.. or that there is a possibility that people out there don’t worship her for “all of her hard work”
When you see how a narcissist operates you can spot it within seconds and from across the room.

The idea of a fat mom punching down on a fat mom, when neither can actually ‘sing’, is hilarious.

ALL Liberals behave like that when some some twist of misfortune puts them in a position of authority over others.
It's like they cannot help themselves. In my younger years, we used to go out to lunch with some office girls and one in particular (another Liberal) was absolutely ghastly to waitresses.
It was so embarrassing that I said I wouldn't go out with them any more.

the 38-year-old “American Idol” judge was rude to the 25-year-old mother of three after Liebe’s revealed her singing expertise was basically the “church choir,” Wasn't that Katy Perry's résumé when she became famous? (Wasn't her father a pastor who was disappointed in some of her musical and life decisions?) I might be confusing her with someone else, but I think it was her.

Look, if it’s not your dream, it’s not gonna go far because I also respect everyone that’s walking through that door who will lay down their life for this golden ticket [to Hollywood],” Perry explained.

Projection.
Katy was raised in at least a semblance of a church. She has rejected Christ afaik and laid down HER life at the idol of Hollywood success. Confronted by a faithful young mom with three children she felt some rage?

Katy Perry tried to buy a convent and force the nuns to move. One of the nuns died while the court case was going on.
Katy Perry did not need that building, she just wanted it at others expense.

I tuned into Hollywood Night on Idol and the mom Katy bullied sang, and the judges really seemed to like her. When she was done she thanked everyone and said it was her last performance because she was heading home to her babies. She had mentioned it was selfish of her to be there because her kids missed her. Good for her!
