No proxy. Pelosi let the house proxy during COVID but iirc senate never did.

“Brain dead” is probably clinically an exaggeration unless more strokes happened. Hiding this to avoid an election will be difficult and must be exposed.

Imagine a successful do-over election neutering the D majority in the senate. Poetic justice would be served. A deserved kick in the head as payback for their deceit..

I think votes in the Senate must be cast on the Senate floor with no proxy.

I cite a very old movie where they literally carried a senator into the senate on a litter to cast an impeachment conviction vote for Andrew Johnson.

It seems that congressional staffers will file most (maybe all?) proxy votes anyway.

Will never be reported on CNN.
