I quit watching when they wrote Anna Torv out of the show — in the second episode!
It was the last of you..................
What happened? I was going to watch this, maybe.
What happened? What made you turn it off? I figure it’s woke like the second game with Druckmann involved, but I have no info.
And by the way...did the producers say to themselves, “Let’s cast the ugliest actress we can find to play the child”?
They do this for a lot of shows. They did it for Velma. Seems that if a show is going to be a lightening rod for arguments over social issues, and not a discussion of the show itself, they'll shut down comments.
I've only watched the first episode of TLOU so far but I was enjoying it.
It’s OK with me so far, but I never heard of it before last week. Evidently it is based on a video game, and existing fans objected to the script being changed.
I detected no wokeism yet.
It is just another zombie apocalypse story. The fungus source of the infection/body snatching is plausible.
On the plus side, one episode in, Netflix, Lockwood & Co.
I haven’t seen the latest episode yet. Sounds like I will be turning it off.
“[C]ritics are loving it: On Rotten Tomatoes, which doesn’t feature user ratings for individual episodes, the episode received a stellar 96% rating from critics.”
Tells you everything you need to know about the “critics”
Is this the faggot post apocolypse show?
Name change needed. The last of the queers.
To be fair..the characters in the video game on which this was based were gay. Except the second guy was already dead.
If you followed the source…there should have been no surprise.
Why does anyone watch any of this crap on HBO?
You waste money, pollute your minds, support leftists financially.
That sucks. I thought the first two episodes were making for a good zombie series. If it’s going gay now I will pass.
Last of Us is The Walking Dead. Just not as good. The gay plot line and assisted death was pure woke BS. Disappointing.
Has anyone here played through the game? I haven’t, so I’m agnostic. Was ANY of the episode 3 gay worship in the game?
My position on this sort of thing is pretty straightforward. If there is a gay character or relationship in the source material, fine with me. Carry it over into the movie. When you buy the IP, you buy the IP. If it’s good enough to justify a movie, run with it, but respect the canon.
The problem arises when the producers, director or showrunners swerve way out of their lane to shoehorn their agenda into the movie or show. In this case, I’m unfamiliar with the game, but my evil twin lurks on some other sites that are busy discussing this in detail. I gather that HBO went into full homosexual propaganda mode on this.
Because they gay-ified the whole thing and they don't want to listen to people telling them how full of sh*t they are.
