"Our study shows that carbohydrates have a bigger effect than fat on metabolism at group level, regardless of if the individual has type 2 diabetes or not. Results indicate that a diet low in carbohydrates could be good for people who want to lose weight. A diet low in fat and high in carbohydrates does however not seem to have the same effect. We need more studies in this field before we can develop new dietary recommendations. Here, we have studied what happens at a hormonal level and therefore we can't make assumptions about long-term effects of diets,"
Yeah. Read that again. Just wow. /s

I’m over 50 now and have learned that pain is a great motivator. I have the beginnings of diverticulitis and if I don’t get enough fiber or water in a day I end up with terrible bowel pain. Therefore I’m now naturally careful to eat oatmeal with a pear or apple every day and to drink lots of water daily. The pain itself led me to these changes.

“...Extra Water...”
-
Is it just “water” or is it “liquids”?
Does soup, broth, milk, coffee, coca cola, or beer count?
