I saw Beck and Santana at SPAC years ago. I went on a whim with a friend. We got lawn tickets and were right on the rail of the amphitheater. My friend disappeared after Beck played and during the intermission a guy walked right out of the seats and handed me two 4th row center orchestra seats. I couldn’t find my friend but damn if I wasn’t going to use those tickets. One of the most memorable concerts of my life. I could have stood up and shaken Carlos’ hand.
RIP Jeff Beck, I have many listening hours of your great work.
