That is the infamous scene where fonzy jumped over a shark on water skis and is the genesis of the phrase “Jumped the Shark” which is a reference to a moment when an otherwise popular show does something so ridiculous that the one exact moment can be traced to its eventual

Perhaps someone who actually knows how to waterski can tell me what I don’t know ... whether Henry Winkler was doing it well or badly.
