That was the hook with LSD. That we would be able to use all of our brain, not just a small part. Didn’t really work out that way. Unexpectedly.
I've never heard LSD would help you use your entire brain power. But, in some folks it did indeed awaken parts of the mind that were otherwise unknown. Same goes for psilocybin, mescaline and ayahuasca.
