Actually those containers don’t look like they’re going anywhere. I’m not sure that I could have come up with anything better given the constraints:
1) Total revenue from customers: $6000/unit (30 days at about $200)
2) Air conditioning required even in winter
3) Sun blasting away
4) Likely high wind events
About the only thing that I can come up with would be to pipe chilled water into the rooms for air conditioning (the containers likely act like drums in amplifying the noise from adjacent outdoor compressor units). Of course you’d then need large chillers, but those can be used later for other projects. I’d also insulate them well, although that may already be the case.
