But someone also suggested they may abe able to ‘drag back’ some of the $37m donated to Democrat candidates (including Biden) through the bankruptcy case. Basically, it was stolen money used to fund candidates.

... there are countries that have extradition treaties with the United States, but which are known to often refuse extradition requests anyway include Ecuador, Cuba, Bolivia, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.
But it would be a stressful existence, wondering it they were going to get an offer from the US they couldn't turn down...
PS - I threw Cuba in as a bonus, even though it isn't in S. America.
