That’s what I was worried about, anytime an R candidate or candidate spokesperson said “the other guy/gal would need x number of votes” or “we will have x% of votes when all is said and done “, then the D’s went and found x + n votes or x% + n% of votes.
Only way it works for the R candidate is for them to underestimate x.
(Or... it’s a trap for the D’s; they like to cheat so bad, they will, and the R’s are ready for them.)
