Laughable mantra is the wholesale lie of Uncle Joe and his nephew, Bark, jetting around flogging the dims with “we’re losing our Democracy”.
I can’t imagine the colossal ignorance that high school and college campi have increasingly inflicted on young heads, after 60 years of the 60’s instructors, instructing!
The Pledge of Allegiance drilled into those of us who were privileged to grow up, standing up to say the Pledge and the Our Father.
Fundamentals. They’re in the very marrow of the courageous. God and country came as the first order of every school day, to everyone.
We remember that few, something in the range of only 10%, stood up against the British taxation and the rest is history, to the relief of the silent, but to the eventual enjoyment of all.
They are already saying that, if the Repubs win, it will destroy 'our democracy,' that Repubs are fascists that will lock up your children, etc. It would seem that they are prepared to reject the outcome of an election if they do not win... Then there is the issue of 'honest' elections and those infernal machines, not to mention tens of thousands of ballots that are unaccounted for.
They are also saying that it may be weeks before the results of the various elections can be finalized - all the tricks that they have used in the past. France did away with the machines and they can provide election results the same way that we used to - the next day.
We will see. They have until the first of the year before a new Congress is seated.
