I heard about this maybe two months ago
The owner of the bird is a poor judge of character. It takes a certain type of low life to be that careless with such an expensive bird. Unless someone is just giving a parrot away due to their proclivity for loud screaming, they cost a pretty penny. That pet may be better off being put down unless she is ready to pay all the vet bills.

My good friend has a parrot that he loves as much as I do my dog. He would blow your head off if he caught you trying to steal it. When I call him at home I can hear the bird saying “hello”, “hello” in the background when he picks up the phone.
