That’s very interesting...I’ve never had COVID-19 (to my knowledge) and I have the HLA-DQB1*06 gene. The reason I know that I have the gene is that it’s one of the things they test for when trying to determine if someone has narcolepsy (which I have). The HLA-DQB1*06 allele is strongly associated with narcolepsy, although not causative, so that the test for HLA-DQB1*06 is actually more useful in trying to rule out the condition.

Closing with a BOL re narcolepsy. My wife doesn’t have narcolepsy nor does our oldest son.
Both of them can go to sleep as their heads touch the pillow at night or if they decide to nap.
