That'll show him! I am glad to hear that he's moving around. Those socks on the laminated floor - I have had more than a few instances where I've accidentally gotten overspray of furniture wax on the floor, and it created essentially a skating rink for me, since I also like to wear only socks in the house.
I'm glad he's using his walker too. That's a big help. He needs to treat all surfaces as if he's standing on ice. PT should be able to help immensely, if he listens.
I made it pretty clear that if he walks in his regular socks, without shoes, that he’d better have his hands on the walker.
He has fallen before in regular socks and was able to get himself up. The main thing we worry about now is him cutting himself when he falls while taking the Eliquis.
***since I also like to wear only socks in the house...
