Messed up parents confuse the kid and permanently disfigured teens are even further into a terrible situation.

My heart breaks for these young children who, when they reach adulthood, realize that they have been sold a bill of goods, and there is no going back.
This fills me with a good deal of anger. I find myself trying to cope with it on a near daily basis. I can do it, but...it is not satisfying, and takes me some effort to do so.
Crazy. Just insane.
