Yes I hear you. Nobody is assigned a sex. These people make it sound like an arbitrary designation is made at birth. Of course we all know that the so-called assignment. At birth is not an arbitrary designation. There are actually certain criteria used in order to determine the sex of an infant. But we are not allowed to go by the science in this particular area of life.

It is, and God makes it. But saying it is being used for just sexual appearance on gender is being not only short sided, but absolutely clueless on women.
Breast binding has been used in many historical contexts. Wearing a corset was one way that the size of breasts could be reduced. Different time periods of history have had differing viewpoints on the female form, including widespread use of corsets throughout western European history up to the Victorian era. It had to do with style to create an appearance. Not as a tool to change gender. Women were thought more attractive at different times with different looks. But try to see West, Monroe, Mansfield, Loren or any of a number of large breasted women in today’s society while it is portrayed that way. It’s the mystique.
