Thank you for this.
My mother died this morning. Do not feel too sorry for me. This has been expected for the last 5 years.
Our family is sad but relieved.
I lost 2 friends from school on 9/11, we went to both the same grammar school (grades 1-8,) and then to the same high school. I miss them both.
Watching this video has brought to the forefront my beliefs as to why I am an American and why I feel so strongly for the values that founded our country.
Hugs to you. May she RIP.
((((Hugs))))Breaks your heart.

Oh my! My sympathies. I’m right there with you. My mother passed away last Sunday morning. She lasted a year longer than the usual time for someone diagnosed with her condition.
Although expected, it is still hard. However, we complied with her wishes and she passed away at home with a couple of her children with her. We had a rotation where one (and over the past couple of weeks, two) of her children were with her at all times. She went peacefully in her sleep at home which is how she wanted to go.
I was on duty with another sister that night. I can truthfully say it was the hardest thing I had to do in saying “good-bye” to her. But, she is with the Lord now and no longer in pain. I am blessed in having strong support from my siblings. I don’t know what I would have done over the past few months without them.
I am so sorry.
I am sending up prayers for you both.
