Anne & Charles look pretty ‘rough’, showing their age & haggard with grief. Evidently, they were the only two with their mother when she died ... the rest arrived after she’d passed. The death of the Queen is an “unmooring” ... the last parent to die for her children and the only person in the Queen/King’s role during the lives of most of the people in the country. Regardless of what anyone thinks of the Queen (for, against, indifferent), security/stability of a certain kind died with her.

I'm skeptical about Charles but maybe he will surprise. I'm just a mildly interested observer, ultimately it's up to the British and the citizens of The Commonwealth.

Regardless of what anyone thinks of the Queen (for, against, indifferent), security/stability of a certain kind died with her. Of course - she was the unofficial leader of the English-speaking world. The last link to the greatness of Empire and WWII victory.
