Spinach is bad for oxalates. Great for K and other nutrients, maybe (oxalates can hinder absorption). Some type of fasting regimen is probably more important than a “perfect diet”.

That said, I just purchased a half-gallon of Blue Bell Moo-lenium Crunch and 4 Halo Top frozen chocolate cheesecake bars. Yumm.

I make homemade granola as breakfast food. It is NOT a sugary snack glorified candy bar.

I dare say it is more healthy than ice cream, although, honestly, if someone wants a snack for their sweet tooth, I have always felt ice cream is better than candy or other wheat based confections.

Turkey Hill is pretty good.

They claim to use only all natural sugar and cream, maybe some chocolates

Stay away from any product in the supermarket breakfast candy aisle advertised as "crunchy". The "crunch" comes from the added sugar.

They say Cheerios are better for you than eggs?

I don’t think so. Cheerios must be made by the food company sponsoring the study.

Granola bars, Nutri-Grain bars, and other so-called "healthy" bars are nothing but carbs and sugar. The average granola bar has as much sugar as a snickers bar as does a bowl of a "healthy" cereal. It's all high-carb garbage.

We have been brainwashed over the last several decades that low-fat is "healthy" and that we need to stuff our faces with grains and bread multiple times a day.

Stick to eggs, bacon, sausage, beef, chicken and other whole foods that our ancestors ate directly from the farm if you want to be healthy without spiking your blood sugar and creating an insulin response.

Not by a long shot. Even the so-called "healthy" cereals are filled with sugar and processed carbs.

Eggs are filled with nutrients and won't spike your blood sugar like cereals will. Eggs have been inaccurately demonized in the war on cholesterol (which we need) since the Ancel Keys study in the 1950's. It started out as the "22-country study", but was whittled down to become the 7-country study after conveniently eliminated results from the 15 countries that didn't fit the preconceived conclusion.

The government adopted it as policy and we ended up with the upside down food pyramid that recommends huge servings of grains and carbs (sugar) and only a little meat, eggs and other whole, nutrient-dense foods that humans have eaten for thousands of years.

I’ve gotta read this article. I read nutritional stats on everything I eat, so it’ll be interesting to compare.

Didn’t science determine eggs are healthy now?

I’ve lost 40 lbs in the last year with intermittent fasting. Once your body gets used to it, it’s very easy to go 16, 18, 24 hrs without eating.

Didn’t science determine

Science determines nothing. It merely states hypotheses and provides data and everyone can argue about whether they all ageree.

It is "the Science" that determines things.
