Well I hope you find the right one.
Oh the good ones are out there including a lot of Christian Southern Belles, beautiful on the inside as well as the outside.
I’m not worried about it. I’ll just go with life’s flow and if it happens it happens. If not , then as Paul the Apostle says, “I would that all men were even as myself (unmarried)” (1 Cor. 7:7). (And a caveat, “Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman her own husband” for “if they cannot contain, let them marry, for it is better to marry than to burn” (vs. 7:1, 9).
Depending on what kind of man someone is, if he is a happy and healthy guy, then marriage would hopefully be an opportunity to love some he cares for, not a means of dealing with uncontrollable urges and needs.
But for me, especially in this day and age, I’d rather be like Paul and take his advice, “It is better for a man not to touch a woman” (vs. 7:1), and “He that is unmarried cares for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord...that he may attend to the Lord without distraction” (vs. 7:1, 32, 35).
I have found since separating from my wife, more serenity and peace and joy with a greater sense of the Lord’s presence. It’s been pretty cool. We’ll see how it all plays out.
