Tuesday at the Shell station in Hope, AR it was $3.66 a gallon. I spent $13 less than the time I filled up the truck in July.

It was $3.69 in north Georgia two days ago. I used my Kroger points for .40 cents off so paid $3.29. Kemp extended the suspension of the .30 gas tax until (I think) the end of August. He can’t keep that up indefinitely so I expect we will soon see that tax reflected once again at the price at the pump.

DIESEL has not come down. And where it has, just barely. Until that occurs, inflation will continue. You're 1,000% correct. I haven't seen diesel come down a single penny anywhere I've traveled here in HELLINOIS.
It's minimum $5.29/gal everywhere I've been in C(r)ook, Will, DuPage and Kane counties.

My neighbor, who is an agronomist and runs his own consultancy, told me 6 bucks a gallon diesel makes shipping some crops uneconomical and some stuff may not even get harvested.
