he Mercedes-Benz driver who caused a multi-car crash at a West Los Angeles intersection that left six people dead on Thursday has been ... 37-year-old nurse Nicole Lorraine Linton.
Linton sustained moderate injuries in the collision and was taken into custody on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.
...Linton is a traveling nurse at Kaiser Permanente's West Los Angeles Medical Center.
[I]nvestigators said Linton had been driving over 100 miles per hour (mph) in a 35 mph zone at around 1:30 p.m. PT on Thursday.

Doesn’t look like it. Hastings’ car was a C-class. Hers looks like an E-class coupe, quite a bit more expensive. But car geeks will ID it for sure.

Well, she was going 100 mph and made no attempt to slow down or stop even though she must've seen that the intersection wasn't clear. Also, she had just had a fight with her boyfriend or husband.
It also looks she might've stuck her arm out the window just before the crash, maybe giving everyone the middle finger. That's not clear.
It's not proof that she was trying to commit suicide, but it does put in beyond the "no evidence" claim.
My guess. The driver is dumb as rocks, was upset, drove fast, and was not looking ahead. “Oops. I guess I hit someone.” There are Ten Commandments and she broke 1 (no humility before God), 2 (no roughing it; super spoiled), 6 (no murdering), 8 (no stealing of other’s lives), and 10 (no coveting of fast speeds, nice cars and nice phones). She gets a 50% and F.

Sister of first victim said they are looking for legal representation. There will be no big payday here . No corporation with big pockets at fault. Just a lunatic mad at her boyfriend. Some rumors are she left work early midshift
