A video of a McDonald’s manager revealing no other employees showed up at 4 a.m. for the breakfast shift went viral on TikTok.
Brandon (@ragestreamer93) is reportedly a manager at McDonald’s. He posted a video of how no employees showed up at 4 a.m. The video features the TikToker giving a tour of the empty store as he reveals that it was 6:15 a.m. and nobody showed up.
Brandon reportedly arrived at 3:30 a.m. to prepare for the day. At his store, employees are supposed to arrive at 4 a.m. so they can open at 5.
“I’m not sure if you noticed but right now it’s 6:15 in the morning,” Brandon begins, “the McDonald’s I work at, employees are supposed to get here at 4 to open at 5. Well, I don’t know if you just noticed, no employees.”
Originally, two employees and a maintenance man were supposed to clock in, and each hour, a couple of employees were due to show up. With each passing hour, no employees come in, all of them no call, no show. By 6:15, Brandon is livid as only he and the maintenance man were there to serve breakfast, fuming that he had to do everything by himself, threatening to write them up.
Brandon posted in the comments, “No one walked out/quit, they were bluntly 3hrs late! The GM came in around 6:15 to help me for a few hours.”
The video has been viewed over a million times since it was posted July 15. In the comments, TikTokers found themselves divided, with some criticizing Brandon.

We stayed at the Paws Up Resort in Montana last September for three nights.it was my wife’s retirement present. Same general experience — understaffed, not enough maintenance staff, things broken in our cabin. There was even no way to light the wood in the fireplace. It was very expensive, but not worth it.
The Hill’s Resort yesterday looked very nice. Cute cabins on the lake, good service, and gorgeous scenery. I’d like to spend a few nights there.

Do you have proof to back up that statement?
I read it on the internet...
Bingo..! And the best "fast" food to be had..
No customers for a McDonald’s breakfast shift? The working world eats a LOT of McDonald’s breakfast - at least from what I see.
I got you beat. I got out of the Marine Corps and applied for a job two days later as a ramp agent at Logan Airport. After about a 4 minute interview, I was asked when I could start. I told them I could start right away. Within hours, I had a uniform and was pulling luggage out of airplanes and shoving them into the baggage carousel.
That’s a good one.
Yep. Not afraid to work!
I’m stealing that one!
Yep,
And Im called a leftist for stating too many American are lazy. Go figure.
Haha, all yours. 👍
A McD’s near me has “ Always hiring, day and night shifts” on their sign.
LOL, and a good thing, too!
Heh, at that age, I had a Chief who might bellow threateningly at me “YER FEELINGS DON’T MEAN SQUAT!”
And then what?
Every one of this employees could walk across the street to Wendy’s or Taco Bell and get hired on the spot at what they were being paid at McD’s, if not more.
Every fast food place in the country right now is begging for workers. I stopped by Arby’s the other day and they had a sign on the door to please be kind and patient with their staff as they’re so short-handed.

In ‘73 I bought a leftover ‘72 Fiat 128 from the dealer, for $1650, gas was $0.25.
That was a great little car, kept it twenty years.
Being a server is a good job to have while you are figuring out what you want to do. Dealing with the cash is rather daunting tho.
They even sell bodily functions.
I have no idea who wants that, but apparently some do.
