Mt. F'fer I was in Boot Camp @ San diego in 69 and I don't remember humping that hill. I do remember humping hills @ Pendleton during ITR(comes after boot camp - Infantry Training Regiment) and Schools(where you are taught your MOS - I was artillary - 105mm guns) (whatever hill it was, we humped it carrying the 105 breech-block(firing mechanism). usually as punishment for some slight.
Yep, thats it. Must have been when he was in ITRS. They got a T-shirt for it, The Mt. MOFO T shirt. The other nickname was the Reaper. Not sure if that was before or after the 80s.
