Both. CO2 is heavier than air, which is why we have plant growth and phytoplankton in the ocean. Water vapor is NOT heavier than air, which is why we have clouds and why it DOES trap atmospheric heat.

CO2 is used as a coolant on some electrical applications. It transfers heat, not insulates.
Yes, the list list of failed predictions is getting long. No ice-free arctic, no seal level rise, just normal climate change or variation. I definitely haven’t read anything about the Obama’s regretting their beachside purchase, nor others, such as in Hawaii, etc.

Just a big STOOPID repeated over and over. There simply is not that much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, and it does not have the effects claimed for it. There IS a very powerful “greenhouse gas”, water vapor, that is concentrated at anywhere from thirty times to four hundred times the amount of carbon dioxide at any given time. The water vapor concentration is highly variable around the world, and even from hour to hour in any given locality. Water vapor is the singular most powerful agent that affects weather and overall climate. Nothing else is of significance.

Not to mention it absorbs heat as energy only to release it when it can no longer be contained.
And, yes, it is hurricane season in the North Atlantic.

The name itself is preposterous and a really bad analogy.
A greenhouse is a physical enclosure made of glass or plastic which keeps the heat transfer mechanism known as convection from taking place. The hot air inside the greenhouse is not allowed to mix with the cooler air outside, thus the inside air stays warm.
Free floating co2 in the atmosphere has no such confinement. It can transfer energy to other air molecules and to outer space using all three heat transfer mechanisms - conduction, convection and radiation. So it’s nothing like a greenhouse. Hence a bad analogy.

I know there are a lot of useful idiots on the left who actually believe the CO2 myth, but there are intelligent lefties and the top of the leftist pyramid who use the CO2 myth to attack “fossil fuels”. That part is obvious.
But why?
If they know you don’t artificially warm the planet with hydrocarbons, then why attack them? What is the ultimate goal? Is it just globalist enslavement of the little people. Consolidation of natural resources into the hands of a few elite?
