Ford is instructing dealers to temporarily stop selling electric Mustang Mach-E crossovers due to a potential safety defect that could cause the vehicles to become immobile.

The issue can lead to a malfunction that could cause the vehicle not to start or immediately lose propulsion power while in motion, a dealer notice states.

The problem is notable, as automakers continue to have problems launching new electric vehicles. Ford, in recent years, also has experienced problematic vehicle launches.

Ford engineers couldn’t design a golf cart that would last six weeks.

Sounds like Ford could use some serious quality control personnel in their software development department.

Loved my ‘74 Mustang Mach 1. Smallest Mustang ever. The E’stang has 4 doors so it’s not a Mustang. Might as well call it a Corvette.

When Porsche started making 4-door sedans I knew the apocalypse would soon be upon us.

Yep. I’ve seen more of the Porsche SUVs lately than Porsche sports cars.

The SUVs also have the 4-bulb headlights that remind me of the tuberculosis tine test.

Who ever decided to call that thing a Mustang should be tacked to a barn wall and left to dry in the sun.

Ford just can not get the battery connector correct. Forget the model year, There was a problem of the car not starting or quit running. The problem was the ground connector for the battery was installed wrong. The star washer was installed on the top of the connector instead of being placed next to the block of the engine then the connector on top and then the bolted tighten down. The misplacing of the star washer cause the ground connection to disrupt the electrical power to the car by not making a solid connection.

You are driving the electric Ford Mustang listening to your Kenny G music when all of a sudden the car stops and several cars behind you hit you and or a 18 wheeler runs you over.

120mph down the road and on fire............... then KABOOM!
