But he said his crews complained about coming across needles, drug paraphernalia, feces and were concerned about theft.

“You don’t know what’s going to happen,” Cirbo said.

In a recent email to a downtown customer, Cirbo wrote, “We made a decision as a company not to do any work downtown almost two years (ago). The technicians were tired of stepping over needles, human feces, vans getting broken into, etc.”

This is the first time in our history that city leaders have completely abandoned their oaths, basic services, and quality of life issues.

We're living through the failure of cities. Starting several decades ago, they've become very hostile to raising families and have no present, much less a future. The concept of commuting into cities was the warning sign.

Denver, boulder and commierado state legislature keep pushing more and more anti ccw laws. We used to take light rail to stmphonors and ballgames but no more. Symphony banned guns “to protect their customers.” Really to cover their ass. It is more dangerous walking to and from light rail than inside the concert hall. Not suppose to carry on light rail. I think most of us ignore that.
They want to ban ccw in parks.
The left destroys everything it touches.

Denver was a dangerous place back in 1953 when we lived there. Dad always made sure the car doors were locked when we went anywhere.

Mark Steyn’s excellent book “America Alone” discusses how two World Wars so damaged Europe that people became fatalistic, ennui set in, and birth rates fell below replacement in many places. Some of the same fatalism took root in the USA, too.

The frontier in the United States was closed due to the iron horse crossing the country. The automobile and the airplane shrunk the continent further, making the United States more like Europe. We've reached the European model of archaic infrastructure, population density, and people with competing interests.

Stack people like rats in a cage, take away the fruits of their labor, put them among those hostile to them and watch them walk away. A full generation tried to overcome it but the next generations won't waste their effort.

One truth that the nationwide Democrat riots of 2020 exposed was the number of white demented and drug-addled rioters who hate the Deplorables and really feel entitled to burden others with their problems.

Big cities area run by democrats.

White Flight is now all kinds of flight.

All that is left is the very rich and the very poor.

Left Houston in 1990. Won’t ever go back.

It’s “Productive Class Flight”, not White Flight.

“And I recently saw an article calling for AC to be a fundamental human right.”

It won’t be in Europe this summer, as they are PROHIBITED from using air conditioning...due to their quest to ‘teach Russia a lesson’.

Ok, now you got MY interest. B-12 and folic acid patches? If I humbly ask, how did you come across this information? I also have neuropathy in my feet and if this will help, I’m gonna check it out.

Yes. We MAGA folks: working, paying our taxes, obeying the laws, believing in the Constitution, fighting for our country, worshipping our G-d — we’re the real problem.

The dems are a potent combination of evil and crazy. We cannot live with these people.

Such a shame. Denver used to be a wonderful and historic city.

It also used to be a very safe big city. That all changed when Democrats took over about 15 years ago. ALL of this is on them.

A nurse told me about it years ago and I’ve been using them ever since. I get them from Ganesha on ebay. Best price, good service. Never had any problems. Not only does the patch help (eliminate, in my case) the neuropathy, but you’ll find yourself a bit peppier and your mood happier.

My daughter moved there in summer of 2016, wife and I visited that fall. It was after vote to legalize pot but it wasn’t in effect yet. I said they’d be sorry. I was right. I’m not a city guy but it was nice. Clean, quiet, friendly people, many construction cranes. Very few street people. Each year when I’ve been back the deterioration is obvious. It’s well on its way to becoming a third world $hithole.

“Such a shame. Denver used to be a wonderful and historic city. Then they let Californians in. Then they legalized pot. Then they elected crooked Democrats through mail ballots. I used to love the place. Still do love Colorado.”
I lived on the west side of Denver in the late 70’s, It was a great place to live at the time. I used to go downtown for dinner on a regular basis, the city was relatively clean and safe in those days.

CBD is part of the new trend in modern medicine.

Test meds on human subjects so lab rats are not at risk.
